Work in the realm of immovable property carried out at certain workplaces on Belgian territory is subject to an attendance registration obligation. These works include: demolition, construction, renovation, finishing, decoration, maintenance, repair and cleaning. Failure to comply with this obligation can lead to serious penalties and CIAW fines that can quickly reach € 6,000 per employee.
Presences at workplaces where works in immovable property are carried out are registered and checked with the NSSO by the Checkinatwork application of All-Connects. In addition to the two commonly used ways of checking in - via an identification badge on the time clock or in a company vehicle - a QR code can also be scanned for certain situations.
Since March 1, 2014, the Limosa L1 notification document contains a QR code. With that QR code, you can have foreign workers or self-employed workers who carry out work in real estate in Belgium to report in a simple way via the Checkinatwork time clock at the entrance to the construction site.
The QR code contains the most important data from the Limosa notification. Via the time clock developed by All-Connects, foreign workers can quickly and securely register simply by scanning the QR code. They do not have to perform any further manual actions. This saves time and avoids mistakes.
Also, scan the QR code to check an L1 form in the Check Limosa mobile online service. Check Limosa allows you to compare the data from the form with that from the QR code. If you find any irregularities, the online service will give you further instructions.
All-Connects offers employees with Belgian nationality who work for a Belgian company and wish to report to the construction site without a Construbadge, Lisabadge or Limosa document the opportunity to report to CIAW themselves. On the time clock is a QR code that - once scanned - leads to a QR code generator. The employee fills in the requested personal information that identifies him to the NSSO, and clicks to generate a one-time QR code, which can be scanned on the time clock.
